Hello friends and fans and more normal people! Here is "The Latest and Greatest", released on my other podcast "The World is my House" nearly 2 months ago ; I'm sorry to post it here so late. In fact (read below!), it was supposed to be my last podcast ever. Then I kept on buying, stealing, christianizing and mixing house music coz it's what i do. And 10 days ago, I posted "Surprise Party!".
I suggest you subscribe to http://TheWorldIsMyHouse.podomatic.com as well as renew your friendship or fanship with me on that podcast because the technical problems that had caused the move to "House Planet" no longer exist and it's easier for me to update only TWIMH :)
Nonetheless, here is the original depressed post I attached to "The Latest and Greatest", hope you'll like the mix. Let me know what you think and thanks for your patience, support and understanding! Love Cx
As promised last week, this is “The Latest & Greatest” which is also the last episode of this podcast!
In 5 months, 5 new mixes & 5 old ones, I’ve tried to bring you the best upfront uplifting house music I could possibly mix with my personal style of christianized tracks and 3-minute-long mixes. It’s an extremely time consuming passion (just finding enough good tracks is a mission!) and I would like to stop while the passion is still there: I don’t want to end up like other podcasters, just posting 12 average tracks mixed lazily beginning to end (although this does seem to be a popular thing to do : )…
Many thanks to all of you who took the time to download & listen to my mixes, the response has been fairly impressive. Extra special super thanks to the few of you who were kind enough to spread the word, or drop me a support note or a comment: that deeply touched me (special note to my reviewers on iTunes, BB & Lee: you almost made me change my mind about stopping now!). Don’t forget to send me an email at TheWorldIsMyHouse@podomatic.com and I’ll find a way to get you my new stuff!
For this last episode, we start with a wicked remix of Chaka Khan & Daft Punk (courtesy Pascal at Le Depot, Paris!), then a mix of an all star cast (Deux, Wawa, Smax & Gold, Stonebridge, Ian Carey, Spencer & Hill, etc.), hot promos (special thanks to Utah Saints for being extra kind!) and the usual obscure tracks and remixes! We close with Amy & Britney, as my personal tribute to all the troubled souls in this world…
As per usual, half the tracks have been “christianized” for your pleasure (and mine, obviously!) and my favourite mixes are 7-8 and 11-12. Told you I was happy with myself ;)
Enjoy, keep dancing, take good care of yourself and see you around, it’s a small world!
Lotsa love, Christian.
PS: whenever you’re in a club and the music is bad, vote with your feet and leave the dance floor. It works! If the music is good, don’t hesitate to tell the DJ, it’s always nice!

Hi, it’s me again… The good news is that “White Label” has been downloaded more than a thousand times in 3 days (thanx!). The bad news is that I got the latest “Deux” a few minutes after posting my mix and I heard it over the week end in a club: wicked track (and I’m a long time fan)! So I did what I do: I “christianized” it to make it punchier and easier to my ears and I came up with a new version of the mix appropriately called “White Label 2”. It still fits on a CD and I thought you’d like more upfront music for the same low price :) . Apologies to those of you who have to download it again but that track is worth it! (I’m leaving both versions for the time being, tell me what you think…). Same text follows…
“White Label” features quite a few hot promos and bootlegs: for instance the new Ultra Nate having an affair with Britney Spears’ “Break the Ice” (I love the sound of this mix!). Also, no less than 4 Wawa tracks (these guys rock), some tracks I’ve missed (the amazing remixes of Moby’s “Raining again” and Armand van Helden “I want your soul”), and the fun and punchy Lizzie Curious’ “2Kool 4Skool”… Listen to the mix till the end! As always, I’ve christianized many tracks to make them sexier :) and I’ve tried to stay away from anything dark or dull (not easy, considering the current music production).
My favourite mixes: 7-8, 10-11, 16-17 and the end…
Finally, don’t forget the easy way to get this podcast (and to subscribe to it!), if you use iTunes, is to click on: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=265107109
Spread the word! Love, Christian xxx
PS: The name “White Label” has nothing to do with substance abuse (even with Britney in it, bless). I meant to release this mix for Xmas and I thought it was a festive name… Then I decided it needed some more polish :) (go listen to the music and write a nice comment instead of reading that rubbish!)

Happy 2008, Boyz & Galz! Here’s “White Label”, my first mix of the year and, dare I say, I’m quite partial to it… Loads of promos and 20 tracks squeezed, shaken and stirred Christian style :)! (call me uncool but I’m sticking to the 80-minute limit)

Hi everyone ! I’m pleased to introduce « This Side Up », a big sound mix that should keep you busy during the long winter nights !
We begin with the ever reliable Mary J Blige remixed once again by Moto Blanco, the new Chanel fusionned with the new Booty Luv. Lots of revisited classics (again!): Tracks 4, 6, 9, 11, 12, 14 and 16, mixed with new and exciting stuff. The whole thing is very pumped up uplifting vocal house and I love that sound (as opposed to other current productions which I find too electro and too cold). Anyway, hope you like that too!
As always, if you like the end result, please tell your friends, more than ever :) : I' still waiting to be included in iTunes, which will make things much easier! So it would be REALLY nice if you could forward the following link to every house music lover on your e-mail list!
http://houseplanet.podomatic.com and I will communicate the short link to iTunes as soon as I get it! Please come back and watch this space!
Spread the word and let me know what you think: I just love it when I get your kind words and when I see the downloads spread fast around the world! Party on!
Love, Christian xxx

Podcast Summary
Extremely uplifting funky house music from London and from the rest of the World!
"House Planet" aims to bring you the very best in dance music, with mixes designed to make you get up in the morning or go out at night :)
I love house, from funky vocal stuff to more banging toonz. The common denominator in what I like is a melody, a strong bassline and (quite often), great vocals by desperate housedivas :)
I believe the music I play can be enjoyed everywhere on the planet and it's the rationale behind my podcast "House Planet".
And it's also a great excuse to go out and actually play that music around the world, so...
Thanks for giving my music a try ; if you like it, sign up as a fan to get the new episodes as they are released! And don't forget to tell all your friends :)
I fell into music a long time ago but only recently (2000) discovered house in London & never looked back. Since that, I've been collecting 24/7 the tracks that make me happy: melody, strong basslines, big voices, etc. I've been lucky enough to play at Heaven, Colosseum, The Cross, etc. I don't like deep, dark, dirty, progressive house which i find utterly boring: for me , a track must have the power to make people jump off their seats onto the dancefloor with a smile on their face and get together. But that's just me and everybody is free to feel otherwise :)
